Bord Bia Event - Evolving Food Markets in Ireland.

On Tuesday, April 8th, Bord Bia is hosting a one-day event at Belvedere House and Gardens in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath to give food producers, stall holders, market managers and industry representatives the opportunity to share insights, review best practice and network.

The event will be opened by Minister of State Tom Hayes and feature guest speaker Lulu Meyer, Associate Director of Operations at the renowned Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market in San Francisco, USA.

Bord Bia will also use the opportunity to introduce an updated “Guide to Food Markets in Ireland”. This guide identifies the changing food market models in Ireland; provides advice to stall holders and market managers on how to set up and manage markets; outlines the characteristics of a good market and reviews the future trends for Irish food markets.

This event will start at 10am and conclude at 3pm. It will incorporate lunch and a number of afternoon break-out sessions.

If you wish to attend this launch on April 8th, please RSVP by latest March 28th to colleen.mcenroy@bordbia.ie or call Colleen  on 01 6142204.
