DFC Chef Producer Showcase

Dublin Food Chain https://www.dublinfoodchain.ie/ are collaborating with the Restaurant Association of Ireland (RAI) https://www.rai.ie/ to create an opportunity for Dublin producers with products suitable for restaurants and cafes, to showcase these to chefs and café/restaurant owners. The broad objective is to celebrate what Dublin producers have to offer and get more local food onto local menus.

“Our strategic focus needs to be on shifting the emphasis by enhancing our national menu and amplifying its strong connection to people and authentic place” - Fáilte Ireland Food and Drink Strategy 2018 – 2023.

Format:

15-20 Dublin based food and drink producers will be on hand to taste their products and interact with chefs and café/restaurant owners. At least 15 chefs/café restaurant owners will be on hand to interact with producers.

Food and Drink Producers – Why Attend

Dublin’s restaurant and café culture is renowned throughout the world and this short event offers the opportunity to showcase your product to Dublin’s best chefs and food managers. Meet a select group of chefs, restauranteurs, and café owners as part of this boutique event.

Target Participants

The chefs and managers will be seeking out products they can use as ingredients to create their dishes and will be looking for innovative food and drink to offer their customers. Of particular interest are products which are innovative, and which work in the chef’s kitchen or the café prep area.

Dublin Producers

This event is focused on getting local food onto local menus and therefore can only accommodate Dublin based food and drink producers who are clients of any of the four Dublin Local Enterprise Offices.
