This online event was attended by over 100 DFC members.  Three great speakers included The Gastrogays, Eadaoin Fitzmaurice and Irah Mari Pebredo.  Our speakers demystified the topics of food influencers, TikTok and social media success.

Key Learnings from The Gastro Gays

  • Know the niche of the journalist or influencer you are targeting.
  • Find your angle and be clear on what is your story.
  • Interact over time and build up a rapport.

Key Learnings from Eadaoin Fitzmaurice:

  • Use reels and TikTok to grow your awareness (three x reels per week and one x TikTok a day).
  • Use story highlights as a virtual shop window.
  • Think about what your audience is looking for when they come to your page.
  • Content creators really does help

Key Learnings from Irah Mari Pebredo

  • Micro influencers have the highest engagement rat .
  • Show your interest in their platform and build a natural friendship with content creators.
  • TikTok can create conversation and a community around your brand.
TikTok loves brands that show personality.
