Dublin Food Chain is delighted to host the second of our summer talks, which will focus on the more direct to consumer routes to market.

2020 has seen an unprecedented rise in consumer interest in local food through farmers markets and an every increasing array of food trucks. This short 90 minute session will see experts who operate at markets on a daily basis share their stories and tips.

Whether you are currently selling at a farmers market, have your own food truck, or are just planning to join the hundreds of producers who have chosen these direct selling options, this short event is for you.

Speakers:

Margaret Hocter
Wicklow farmer, and market expert, Margaret will talk about her own market experience and give some tips to those attending.

Simon Campbell
Simon was a former food truck operator, and now runs the Urban Food and Craft Market in Blanchardstown. This market is attended by 6000 costumers per week.

Cathy Soraghan
Cathy runs the successful Goodlife Farmers Market and will talk about “What works and what to avoid”.
