Unleashing the Entrepreneurial Spirit, a groundbreaking DFC event designed to inspire and empower female food entrepreneurs to turn their passion for food into successful ventures. In today's rapidly evolving food & drink landscape, women play a pivotal role in shaping Dublin’s food and drink sector with their creativity, innovation, and unwavering determination. This seminar aims to provide a supportive and dynamic platform where aspiring and established female food entrepreneurs can come together, learn from industry experts, and exchange ideas that will ignite the flames of food excellence and business prowess.


Lily Ramirez-Foran: Lily is the founder of Ireland’s Mexican boutique grocer and cookery school, Picado Mexican and author of award winning book, TACOS by Blasta Books. She’s a woman on a mission to showcase Mexican food and culture beyond its clichés and misconceptions. When not busy with work, Lily can be found in her kitchen experimenting with recipes, writing on her kitchen table and learning to grow food in her tiny urban garden. Shop keeper, food writer, story teller, mad dreamer and lover of all things Irish.

Vicki Baird: Viki has been a boss lady for almost three decades! A woman after our own hearts. She has led teams that have yielded inspiring results. Her main priority at Dublins Stillgarden Distillery is to ensure you are treated to the finest spirits and libations available and that you are offered the best unique distillery experiences.

Domini Kemp: Domini is an award-winning Euro-toques chef, food writer, and entrepreneur. She has completed the Chartered Director Diploma in the IoD and a Pg Dip in Positive Health at the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin – focusing on integrated and lifestyle medicine and is currently studying for a Diploma in Culinary Medicine. She is the author of five cookbooks.

She regularly contributes to TV and radio and consults on various restaurant and food projects, including the new Vhi Food lab in Carrickmines, an entirely new café concept focusing on culinary medicine.

She is currently the resident chef for Food & Wine Magazine. Domini has recently become CEO of Valence Hospitality. This new hospitality group has taken over two new premises, including Nancy Hands Bar and Restaurant on Parkgate Street and Lottie’s in Rathmines.
