Sinead Hennessy, Food Tourism Unit,  Failte Ireland will explain the value and opportunities that Food Tourism presents. Sinead will also talk about key steps in delivering an authentic experience to visitors .

Local entrepreneur Jeanne Mahony, Hope Beer will share her first-hand experience of Food Tourism as a driver for their business. Jeanne will explain how, by pairing up with local restaurants, they have enhanced their brewery tours and improved sales.

James Burke, James Burke & Associates, is Ireland's leading Food Consultant and Retail Advisor, with vast experience delivering business solutions. James will present on “the profit in local sourcing”

 

The evening will provide lots of opportunities for learning and questions from the floor are welcomed. There will also be time for networking, allowing food producers and tourism businesses to get to know each other and hopefully forge new alliances.
